Thirva is the Ildorian goddess of the hearth, one of two primary deities in Ildorian culture. She represents the warmth, fire, life. She is married to the god of ice and death, Throck. The two are said to be constantly at odds with each other, yet they are always in many ways necessary for each other. For example, a sword, which is hard and made from iron or steel, must be forged in fire. Fire is a feminine energy that strengthens the masculine.

The Ildorians do not necessarily worship their deities, but more so their culture is "aware" of them, and they try to act in various ways to please them.

Superstitions and Concessions[]

  • Corporal punishment usually consists of chaining one outside naked. If they survive the cold of night, they are said to be favored by Thirva.
  • They do not snuff out smoke sticks, as they are believed to be a gift from Thirva.
